The Akkulift from Drive Medical is a light-weight, battery-powered bath lift, designed to fit in standard size tubs. The Akkulift was designed to give the user independence while bathing. It features a side seat access and a powered backrest for reclining. The Akkulift disassembles easily into light-weight pieces for quick storage. The motor and 12-volt battery pack can do 20 lifts per charge, and the unit will not descend if there is not enough power for a lift. Another dafety feature...the Akkulift will not operate unless the battery is fully sealed for safety.
